(Late) I gotta git …so forgive my lack of time to put into this, but it’s bugging me enough to wanna toss in some my ol’ hat…

A bit divergent o your theory, Ed, I'm not really getting the “stone cold heart” vibe from Marc. Not this whole time, really. & I’m not dumping on your humanitarian instincts at all, brotha Ed. Just tryin to come to grips myself, and the gray areas and icy stares of misunderstanding are what perpetuates the energies that keep us at odds. No? I think Marc’s just being honest with you and trying to weigh the differences. If I may be so bold: He’s never really seemed to embrace the approach of our regular purposeful trolls-for-ire here, having appeared to take his own lone tack on most subjects. I mean, really, I get the feeling he came up in a good hard-working traditional “Western” family, respects them & his own, with an emphasis on son-father love which adds to the strident patriarchal bent. & you have to admit he’s acted as a bridge between sides from time to time. Sometimes. No? Don’t get me wrong here: I don’t much like ya Marc, but we all can’t like everybody. & we’re all kinda pissed off about a lot o things…because we’re searching for truths & consequences, how can we not: being DB fans. (& without any help from the so-called Lords & Ladies and their moral authorities that appear to aim primarily to use us all as disenfranchised tools of service & unrepresented revenue streams. Fucked-up, ain't it?)

I guess my point is, maybe you two should try'n seek a more humble truly humanitarian middle ground and eek it out until you know the whole of your differences. Then puzzle that out. It’s true, Ed, you go to guns, you really do. Come on, am I lying? We all do at times. & Marc spins “spin” and fury when backed against the wall. No? WE all do. Some just…really suck when they do. I’m not sayin who’s right (wrong) or wrong (right) here, just that I’ve read Ed, Reg, Eric, Dan, Marc, . . . (every time a try’n list the key folks in any given scenario here I realize the futility of it because I’m definitely gonna leave a few important characters out) . . . anyway, I’ve read this board for years…prior to my first post…and between hiatuses…and to my honest eye Marc really has tried to make heads of tails of all our differences and his own. No? Really? Does that make him a pain-in-the-ass-Alpha-cowboy rabble-rouser on the dbis? Well okay. But you’re a rabble-rouser too Ed. I mean if I were to take a strong stand on a song stylist for whom you’ve not developed an emotional/intellectual means of appreciation, …why, you’d probably set out to rip me to sarcastic shreds. Eviscerate me in print. & perhaps you’d be warranted to a certain extent, or maybe not, maybe I’d be the one who saw the keystone in the ketchup, or perhaps I’d be “the misguided” to some degree and come around to your way of thinking...or not. But still it’s just a divergent opinion. One in some 7 billion? There are trolls who just plain fucking blow…they’re the clichéd Loud Sucking Sound, but I really don’t’ get that from Marc. Just my gut feeling. I think he really wants to get to the bottom of it. I think you guys should consider sifting away in the dirt & mudwaters until the definitives begin to glisten in the sun. ………Just a thought. Could be helpful to all of us. I’m not steppin’ on anybody’s dick here. Or vagina for that matter (all warmth & respects to the ladies, certainly..)
