Yeah I am one of the remaining few conservatives on this board (long time member btw and maybe the only one) that somehow didn't feel like you guys wanted to run me off (yet). I think we can have good conversations and reasoned ones (generally), so let's talk about gun control.

It appears to me that the left has immediately glommend on to the idea that the EBR is the culprit (Evil Black Rifle) in the recent killing of 26 people (mostly children) in CT. As such, the immediate knee jerk reaction is to ban all EBRs. (but it failed BIG time for a lot of politicians the last time the left tried that and I can tell you why)

I understand that (what you believe) on the very surface because I own one. I just don't think to mow down kids down with it. Or anybody else. But it does have a purpose and I am willing to talk about that.

So ask a guy with an EBR anything and I will try to help you regain a logical sense. Even though I know that on this front, you'll never understand. Here is a starter for you.
