Because it's full of distortions, issues that mean little and points made out of stuff that bears no relation to this issue.

For example, as I pointed out in an earlier reply, even though states such as NY or cities like Chicago have strict gun laws, it means little because neighboring states have very lax gun laws.

Take tobacco or gas taxes as a good comparison to this - Missouri has always had lower gas taxes in Illinois, so guess what is on the border lines between Missouri and Illinois? Yep, gas stations.

Next, ole Marc throws up the alarmist "they are coming for our guns, they are coming for our guns!" scare tactic.

Then the comparing of war countries to industrialized, stabilized countries.

And on and on....

Let's face it....this country has grown into a fat, bloated mess with a philosophy of "I got mine, fuck you" and "I'm so afraid I need to kill it to save it."

I mean shit....we've had a guy walk into an American school and kill twenty kids and what do we get? Infantile, alarmist ramblings......
