Well Reg you have now accused me of being a person of low IQ, a Moron and an idiot. Unqualified to own a gun. I get it. And I don't think I've even once used a deragatory term against you in this thread. Yeah, I might have said your father wasn't a great role model, but I meant that only as far as guns. Other than that I can have no opionion other than what what you've said about him, but I make no judgement against him either other than that.

You are operating on things you don't understand (but might think you do and might be afraid of) but that does not give you license to rail against what you don't know in an offensive way against me.

I am not the guy you think I am, because you've been taught to believe guys like me are the enemy. But I am not.

You want gun violence to be gone and I do too. But I do understand guns, have no crimnal record and am allowed to own them legally. I practice and train and in my state it is expected from me. Also I have (fortunately) never had to use one against another person and I hope I never do. But I would be prepared.

But let's talk about the "assault rifle" that liberals like to talk about.

What are you afraid of? The fact that our military carries an un-neutared automatic version of it? It is actually a basically weak round that it carries (I call it the heavy 22), long distance but not gonna kill you generally with one hit and that is why in my state we are not allowed to hunt larger animals (deer) with them. Great for coyote with one shot though and that is ok. It is a real good defensive round though up close and that is why we are allowed to have them for home defense too.

But oh No! In your world, you believe that it looks like one scary gun. Ok, you are unarmed and that is ok too if that is what you want, but keep in mind that when gun owners see things like what Obama just tried to do that we all (as gun owners) will say to ourselves. "So this is how liberty ends, in thunderose applause."

I understand that you want the government to hold your hand cradle to grave (it won't happen the way you want though) but I'll fight for both of our rights (thank you forefathers). But you'll try to re-interpret that right, and look stupid by calling me names.

Go ahead and let your government take away every right you ever had. Because it is what this administration wants to do. It is your perogative I guess and up to a point and I will defend your first amendment right that they will eventually take away with my second amendment right. But don't come to my door when you realize you just got trapped.

And tell Obama that if you guys are gonna try to use "it's about the children" against us with a photo op, not to use them once again politically. It looks REALLY bad. Hitler did the same goddamned thing the day he disarmed Germany in 1936 and I can tell you that a lot of Jewish families are still pretty ficken pissed about that. But you can make your own choices...I guess.
