Yes, to Dan's point, Trump and his minions have already declared the 2024 election was rigged although it has yet to happen. They have all kinds of angles to label it rigged and they already have the lawsuits all set to go.
Election night should be nuts, if the MAGA crowd get their way. In the days following the election, the howling and lawsuits will be overwhelming. Not sure what the violence level will be but it looks like their plans involve using violence on election day, and they plan to have people causing all sorts of mayhem at polling stations in swing states.
They are already making the false claim that Harris is not a valid candidate, utter nonsense, but it is part of the smoke they want to fill the air with.
Basically, I don't even think the strategy for the Trump campaign is to win with votes. Trump is telling people outright they don't need to vote, he does not need their votes, and after this election, you will never have to vote again. The Trump campaign has no field offices, are closing the ones they do have because they don't want to fund them, they have no voter outreach aside from the insane emails they send out, which most people are going to find crazy and delete them. Who knows what the Trump campaign is using their funds for, but it is certainly not to run a campaign. I would think someone will be looking into that once this campaign is over because the money coming in does not seem to line up with the money going out on campaign expenses. I am sure he does not care because...well...win or lose this will be the last time he runs.
Trump's idea of campaigning is to do and say crazy shit so that the media can't stop talking about it and he wins the news cycle each day doing that. His problem is, the Harris campaign has won the news cycle each day since Biden dropped out. This is why he held that ridiculous emergency news conference at Mar-a-Lago, because he thought he could finally win a news cycle...that backfired as well because he was out of his mind and said stupid things.
I mean the guy is literally continuing to try to tell Kamala Harris what her ethnic background is. Nobody, not even FOX loons, think that is a good idea. As Donny gets backed into a corner, his response tends to always be the same, he will get more and more vile and insane...because he is counting on that behavior getting heavy media attention. He might be right, that may get him back in the headlines but it will have a negative impact on his chances of winning an election.
He only knows how to divide people, not how to bring them together, this will be his downfall. He's already too old to run now, his health and mental wellbeing are already failing, he would never make it to a 2028 run.
