It is all very well and good Reg (and David), the Dem's probably has this locked, providing something doesn't blow up (metaphorically speaking - hopefully...).
I know you think you have answered this, however I URGE you to keep in mind, that unless you fix the multitude of court/judges/DA's etc appointments made by Drumpf et all and the numerous corrupt examples of redistricting, then the next MAGA movement will come again with a more cunning candidate. Your system is horribly flawed and the population SO easily swayed by "the next big scandal", that a lot of things can go wrong. May not in this election cycle, but the next could be prone to at least the same problems... These thing do not happen in multiparty systems.
