Walz is a politician I have had very little knowledge of and before learning more of him, I was baffled by his attraction and then I watched a video montage of something like the best of Walz and I saw it.  He has that thing with people where he loves people and it shows.  And then, the video of him being mugged by those children - what an absolutely exquisite sight to see, and again, one can clearly see - this guy is one of those rare people who sincerely loves people. 

And this is what saddens me - all those miserable fuckers on the right are going to turn his love of people into some sort of perversion (in fact, I think it was that one prick Waters from FauxNews who has already started the perversion off-ramp).

Also, he seems to be channeling aspects of Paul Wellstone, too. 

I also wish that we still had it when Time, Newsweek, and US News would embed a reporter on presidential campaigns with the promise nothing would be revealed by such reporters until after the election because I would love to know more about the geniuses that were behind this man's selection.  So far, what a masterstroke of politics.
