Icon A story about the Walz selection...

So, here's one of the stories I heard about him and the Harris campaign. As they were looking at people for the VP pick, they invited Walz to a campaign event. During the event, they had so much fun being around him that they decided to invite him out for beers after the event. During that portion of the evening, they said they could not get enough of being around the guy, he made everybody feel so good and was such a wonderful person, the comment from staffers was, they just never wanted it to end. They literally said they could hang out with the guy forever.

I knew nothing of him until they put him on the list for VP. Seeing him speak, yes, he is so genuine and has an incredible personality. He is just a good and decent man, that believes that the job of government is to help make people's lives better.

I think there are some really winning things about him, and one huge one is he is basically the total opposite of JD Vance. He is sincere, honest, warm, fun, and cares about people. Vance is epically phony, full of crap, self-serving, dishonest, an opportunist, and a con man...just like the guy he is running with. It comes across not just to people like us that don't have any use for him but also to Republican voters, who probably dislike him much more than we do.

In most races, I don't think the VP pick matters a lot, but in this one it does. Mainly because the Vance pick was so horrible, Walz just magnifies how bad that pick was. And second, because Walz is a great speaker that does impact people when he speaks to them. They like him right away, whereas Vance repels people right away.

Honestly, who gives a flying fig what those idiots on FOX are saying about him. What they are actually thinking about him is, "We wish we had a guy like this!"
