Really, to do that another candidate or candidates would have to step up and say "I want to put my name in the hat and challenge Harris. I want to take it to a floor vote."
Well, basically nearly every big name that could present a real challenge to Kamala, has stepped out of the way. So, who is going to challenge her?
Hillary, Bernie, Michelle Obama, Newsom, and I believe Whitmer have all already said they either don't want it or endorsed or will not challenge Harris if she steps in. So, there is nobody that makes any sense to challenge her. There is no big name Democrat that can step in and make a reasonable case they are a better candidate than Harris. So, honestly, why in hell would you go to a floor vote? It makes no sense.
If RFK Jr. was still a Democrat, I could see him trying it, but he's now off on some weird independent trip, so there is nobody that makes sense to challenge Harris. She is the candidate.
