Yes Reg, I am on the frontlines of a swing state. I am involved with county, congressional district, and Democratic Party of Georgia people; so basically Georgians from all over the state. Since the debate even, I've spent time in several counties in the congressional district; on text threads, private Facebook pages, and in person with Paulding County democrats; with democrats from counties in other congressional districts that share a Coordinated (Biden/Harris) Campaign office and organizer with us; military veterans and active duty service personnel in Middle Georgia; and the Officer level of the Democratic Party of Georgia. In those interactions, 99% have been supportive of Biden/Harris.

I was contacted by people from across the country (not tons of them but more than a few) about what I thought was going on, what should we do, etc. They did that just because they know I'm involved in politics, not because they think I have any inside information. Of those people, 1 wanted Biden to step down. Just like the "Don't quit, Biden" cheers and "Four more years" that is being heard at all of the public Biden events, you all can see for yourself how people are feeling.

Interestingly, as I was typing this post, I got a notification that AOC was doing a live feed on Instagram, so I thought I'd listen. She was CALLING OUT the old white men in Congress! She is saying what I said, what so many others have said: Republicans will sue the shit out of Dems in every single state if the ticket is changed; it’s 3.5 months before the election which logistically is not enough; money cannot be transferred to another campaign unless it is one with Harris; there is no consensus on a replacement; and she said that many of the people who are calling for Joe to step down really want Harris to step down too. She was particularly forceful about this point; that "they" are really anxious to get Harris out too. Like REALLY wanting to get her out, all of which speaks to underlying white supremacy that may be surfacing, as much as I'd hate to think that.

She is reporting what she has heard in Congress with some of this people. Many of them are talking for their donors, not for their constituents. That is PURE SUICIDE. As a very progressive democrat, she is calling for Biden/Harris to be the ticket. She also said that these people have not been able to game this all out behind closed doors when she has asked them specifically to do so. She also said that now, after the unions have endorsed the Democratic nominee and the work that goes into the union deciding to endorse Biden/Harris, that ditching Biden or Biden/HArris with the huge backing of union members all over the country, would, again, be suicide.

So, I totally agree with AOC that, basically, the definition of suicide in today's political world would be to drop Biden or Biden/Harris. Also, like I've said and AOC and many others have said, polling can be waaaaay off: examples 2016 with Hilary and 2022 with the Red Wave midterm. I'm going by what I'm seeing. I'm going by the passion and commitment of what I'm see across Georgia, across the country, in person, and on social media.

Also, CNN & MSNBC are no longer your friends. I cannot say this enough. If you are listening to them, remember that you are listening to what their trump supporting corporate owners are pushing them to say. While they're going on and on STILL about Biden and the debate, what have they said about no medical report or press conference being held after our Former President survived an assassination attempt? I haven't heard them questioning that. Also haven't heard them calling out the fact that at a political party's national convention that talks from the podium about what a Law and Order party they are and that all felons need to go to jail, their nominee is a convicted felon waiting to be sentenced. Another person who spoke flew from being released from jail to the RNC, and then the likes of Michael Flynn, Rudy Guilliani, and Paul friggin' Manafort are just walking around the convention. Irony, anyone.
