Andi, we are not alone. I honestly went from feeling very confident about the outcome of the 2024 election to now just having no idea what will happen or what will happen next. The fear I see in people is really hard to deal with, particularly my wife. She unfortunately got a glimpse at some of the news the other day, something she avoids, and we do not put it on in the house and came to me crying and fearful Donald Trump would again be president. I felt like I had been transported back to 2016, with me trying to calm her and say it won't happen, in 2016 I told her it would not happen, that most Americans would never vote for a guy that said and did the things he did. Sure enough, he got elected, by small margins, against a candidate who, at that time, was our most divisive politician.

In this election, suddenly with the debate, everything shifted, and it has been incident after incident that has been in Trump's favor. I mean, I knew with the two candidates we had, we had to look at this election as very unstable and that both candidates had the potential to not make it to election day. So, in some ways this is not a surprise but some parts of it I did not see coming.

The media and the Democrats have turned on Biden. He is walking a razor wire to stay in the race, and the reporting and polling are beginning to indicate it is now working, and this race has shifted to Trump will beat Biden, specifically because, Democrats and the media have convinced many people Biden needs to drop out. Not Republicans changing their minds, not Trump changing their minds, the media and Democrats themselves have changed their minds. Every day it is another Democrat telling Biden to get out. Everyday someone on TV, on CNN or MSNBC says the Biden campaign is dead in the water. It is article after article on the internet, the Post, the Times, everybody.

This is a trainwreck, that I do not think can be reversed. I know the issues with changing your candidate late in the process, and the issue with name recognition being a large part of how people vote, but I honestly have to say, the Democrats, I believe, have sunk Biden's campaign. I think they have created, right or wrong, a situation where if he moves forward and stays in, Trump is going to win. I watched John King on CNN do a bit on the path to 270, Trump now has multiple paths to get there, is likely to easily get there, Biden has one narrow path and is playing from behind. It is not difficult math, more states are now leaning Trump, so barring another massive issue for Trump, in 16 weeks, he will get reelected.

I don't even think we have yet seen the full impact in polling that the Democrat and media turn against Biden has caused.

I keep fighting with what the right thing to do here is. Stay with Biden, as he has been the candidate or have Biden drop out due to health concerns and pass off to a younger Democrat.

I have to say, at this stage, watching the circus this has now become, I think the best thing is for Biden to gracefully drop out and throw his support behind another Democrat. I say this because I feel the Democrats themselves with a big assist from the media, who they keep telling Biden is getting out, have forced that hand.

The dominos started to fall with the debate, then the Democrat and media freakout, then some Republican kid shoots at Trump, and the Democrat and media freakout about Biden just got bigger. All the momentum has shifted to Trump. I think that is incredibly clear at this point.

You are on the frontline, Andi. Georgia is a key state. You are down there working with the Democratic party, whomever the Democratic candidate ends up being, winning Georgia would be critical. What do you see going on there? What are people working on outreach saying? Again, my concern is this, if there is a pivot to a new candidate it needs to come quick. If anybody was being told to be prepared for that pivot, it would be, should be someone like you.

I am a bit angry at this point that Biden did not stick with his original plan, which was to be a one term president, right the ship after the catastrophe of Trump, and then hand off to a younger candidate. That's what we were told his plan would be. Well, he destroyed Trump in the election, he did a tremendous job in his first term, he did right the ship, he has all the financial concerns of the country booming and has inflation creeping back down. Job creation and stock market at record levels. Generally, that gets you reelected.

We now are at a point where none of that is discussed though, all we hear now is, too old, can't do the job, gotta get out. On repeat. I could say, sure, that is what guys like Putin and Bibi want. What China wants. That they are burying us in propaganda that Biden has to go, because they want him to go, because it is very much in their favor to get Trump. However, the Russians and Chinese, and Israelis can put their bots on hold and give their own propagandists a vacation because Democrats themselves and all of the media is doing their work for them now. No need to try to sneaky influence an election when the key players here are doing it for you.

I mean, come on, Trump should be sending out checks to all these big-name Democrats because they are crushing it for his campaign right now. I don't blame them for wanting Biden out but man, this should have been done behind closed doors, not hair on fire on TV and in public. Nobody has done more to turn the tide to Trump than the Democrats.

And my foreign policy fears, well, they don't really count much to the American voter, I don't think. Not in swing states. Trump's idea of foreign policy, let foreign dictators have what they want if it is closer to them, is pretty much fine with many swing state voters, I believe. Their concern is just domestic issues, mostly financial, but some cultural.

I believe Biden has to announce he is getting out by August 1. That's the deadline. Obviously, the sooner they pull off that band aid the better because the clock is ticking. 16 weeks as John King said.

When you have Schumer and Schiff both making public pleas for Biden to pull out, discussions of delaying the convention, it is obvious. The party is not united, we have a real problem, everybody with a big voice in the party is pushing Joe out. They need to sit down with Joe, have a summit meeting ASAP and make the choice and decide exactly who would be the replacement if it goes that route. Then all of them come together and talk about how great the new candidate is and how happy they are to have this person. No squabbles, no fighting.

We are sitting at the edge of having a criminal elected to the White House, whose number one goals are revenge and personal enrichment and then destruction of our government, that has been granted absolute immunity.

The plan has to be how do we avoid that.

The damn RNC is holding a convention that is headlined by criminals as speakers and in the audience. This is just out of control. Peter Navarro flew in direct from jail to speak.
