That makes me feel nothing but deep sadness with(in) my (past)life and even a little in the present. I took so long to come out of the closet, wasting so many years of love, freedom and lives.
My partner and I would love to get married, but we want to do so in our own home and state, where family, friends and community can witness our marriage. We would love to have our wedding in our backyard surrounded by the beautifull garden, my partner has spent over a year creating. I know, some day it will come, until then I will have to bask in the glory of the wonderful stories of other gay and lesbian couples, just like the one you just posted. Thank you for sharing and bringing a joufull tear to my eye.
BTW, your girlfriend sounds like a keeper!
