It is also beyond me that everyone seems to think that the poor were the ones that owned the properties totally demolished. That even if they want to return there, when that area is rebuilt, it will be beyond their means. Does anyone here know anything about Norway?
My thought is as bad as this is it can be a new start for a lot of poor families. A bunch of them probably will never move back. It would be interesting to study what happens to these people 10 years later
