"it is mainly people who care about the enviroment - something we all should be concerned about. When that angle is examined, their objectivity is clear."

First off, I never said that Fox was "Fair and Balanced", that was not the point of my post. Secondly, it seems to me that the entire thrust of your claim that the Sierra Club is "objective" is that they have an ideology that YOU think is pretty. This is hardly the basis for a claim of objectivity. Thirdly, the idea that The Sierra Club's sole membership is simply "people who care about the environment" is uteely laughable.
Just like any other group, there are a variety of ideologies and motivations across the board.
The Sierra Club's motivations, like any other group are subject to the will and whim of whoever is leading the group at the time. And yes, I am sorry to inform you that one of these motivations is MONEY. While they may have non-profit status, there are many ways to BE non-profit and still make an assload of cash for the people running the show. Just because people do not sell physical product does not mean that they are not greedy whores. In the case of the Sierra Club the product is fear, and a basis on which to file frivolous lawsuits that the tax-payers are forced to foot the bill for. Funny how the American Trial Lawyers Association gives them tons of money every year isn't it?
Objective? please.
It seems to me that your basis for objectivity is very simple indeed, just agree with YOU and you get a pass.
