Who is Deans power base? The far left. Never said he was a radical. Just a lefty. Leiberman would have the best chance for election but Algore took care of him. Good ole Algore
I think it's a little premature to be talking about Dean's "power base," but in any case, you're incorrect. The Dean campaign has been using grassroots methods to reach out to all sorts of people. And as for Lieberman, dream on. I don't know that any of these guys really stand a chance of being elected, but Lieberman's near the bottom.
I've heard about the NRA thing. But he also has reversed himself on several issues that will come back during the election I'm sure. And every chance he gets he puts his foot in his mouth.
The rednecks, pickup trucks and confederate flags comments where classic. I think he will continue in this vein. But we digress here DeWester. You did not address one of the questions from above.
Oh, I'm sorry. We're supposed to be answering questions? I saw your snide out-of-hand dismissal of Peter's article and I thought answering questions must be for another thread. Hello Kettle, I'm Pot. You're black. Maybe next we can hear some more about the hypocrisy of people who say they're going to leave the board and then come back.
Look, it's obvious you see what you want to see and you ignore everything else. I don't know why you get into these debates when you clearly aren't interested in opinions that challenge your own. I mean, hey, if you really wanted to know about Dean, you would have read that Confederate comment in context. And you'd already know enough about his political record to know he's more of a Clinton centrist than any kind of 'lefty.'
