and that is going to be what is within a president's "official duties."  And I think that is what everyone is shitting the bed about.

Assassinating a political rival is NOT an "official duty," unless some extreme conditions are met and to push that narrative is ridiculous and does no one any good.

And whether anyone here cares or gives a shit, determining what an "official duty" is is oftentimes a pain in the ass and usually is solved by the courts.  It happens to police every day.  That is just how this stuff works.

Yes, it would have been great for a US Sup Ct to clearly state illegal acts are never covered, but those fuckers rarely do clear things up specifically.
