I assume you are asking me how I would get the Browns to surrender...is that it?At this point, if you read my response to Ed, you'll see that I think there is a very large danger in killing the Browns. So, I would cross that off the list of options. Second, Ed Brown is now all over the internet and pretty much has his own PR machine working full time. This means he has already become a martyr if the government wins by killing him or locking him up. The wackos that are drawn to this like moths to a flame will still wish to seek some sort of revenge if Ed and Elaine go to jail or die because both outcomes to them will be proof that the deck has been stacked against them. This means as far as I'm concerned that some innocent people could get killed if this is not negotiated properly. So, I would make a point to try and begin negotiations with the Browns and start by asking them to clear out as many people as they can from their property that do not belong there. I really don't understand some of the reports I've read about this in that people have been gathering up there and coming and going and there seems to be the potential for a small army to have formed there that will shoot it out with the feds and police. This seems odd as even if they were not going to threaten the Browns they could have established check points to prevent people with weapons from getting into the area. I would hope that has happened. Police have already been in the Browns house during this fiasco and things remained peaceful while they were there. I see potential to fix this situation without it getting ugly. The balance will be what sort of deal they can make with the Browns because there is no chance they will pardon them completely. They should start finding out what kind of deal can be done and work on that and likely it should be a deal that involves fines and probation with set restrictions. Look at what their list of crimes are at this point in time and balance that against what could happen if this all goes wrong. I would say an agreement needs to be worked out that prevents violence over what amounts to unpaid taxes and walking out of court. They can pile on all sorts of charges now and I'm sure they already have a long list. They can also begin their own PR campaign to paint the Browns as wackos so they can kill them and hope everybody says "yeah, fuck them" but I think that plan kinda sucks. Mostly I'm for not blowing this up into any more than it is which is a guy who decided to give the government a hard time by fucking with them over his taxes. Why should we allow that to blow up into a bloodbath? That just seems fucking dumb.
