What do civilised countries like Norway do when this kind of stuff happens? Does anybody know? Do they even have these kinds of situations? This kind of stuff doesn’t happen in Scandinavia because:
a) We don’t have the NRA.
b) We don’t have the right to bear arms (we have extremely strict gun control)
c) Tax forms the foundation of the 20th century Scandinavian welfare model.Tax gives me, my family, my friends and all Danish citizens:
a) free education (incl. university),
b) free health care,
c) unemployment protection (USD 3,000/month from the government so I don’t have to put my family on the street)
d) 52 weeks of maternity/paternity leave to be split 50/50 between the mother and father with USD 3,000/month from the government every month for the provider on leave.Tax takes from me, my family, my friends and all Danish citizens:
Min. personal income tax: 40%
Max. personal income tax: 60%.
25% VAT on all goods and services (no differentiated VAT or excempt goods).
