I really can't say for sure Willis because I've never tried a Czech version...so personally I'm not really knocking them but other people say they are no good. If you read any of the stuff on the net about it they say the same thing so my guess is that many bad reviews probably means it's true. Of course some French friends told me that Mari Mavans 70 sucks but when my friend Rick brought it from Spain it was cool because it puts on a good show...and supposedly has some thujone content. I think they may have said it was lousy just because it's from Spain.

I'm not really a snob about this stuff and despite the fact that I know a little about it...I'm not a regular with it or anything. I'd say go with La Fee because it's good, puts on a good show (it's green), and the bottle looks good sitting with your other stuff. I really don't think people here will suddenly become regular absinthe drinkers but a bottle for it's novelty value is cool.
