only a few smalltown rural czech pubs seemed to offer (what is bottled as) absinthe in 1995. i tried it several times. found it about as tasty as most strong spirits. slightly tastier than windex. it didn't seem as potent as touted...

i was back there last christmas, and bottles of the stuff seemed to be much more common, including the duty free prague airport stores. no doubt this is wimpy stuff with no thujones.
