I've hoped it would be a black woman. I was impressed by an interview of Susan Rice the other night.
Biden is more familiar with her than with the others, I believe, both having served Obama.
Rice's serving first as UN Ambassador, then as National Security advisor, gives her invaluable experience with which to make her way around the world, helping to repair damage Trump has thoughtlessly inflicted.
