It was a good rant, citing good examples of why dems have been ineffective at presidential politics, with the exception of Obama.  Dukakis, Kerry, dimwits, Clintons both, as you say, full of hubris and arrogance.

I view Biden as a weak candidate, yet winning by his choice of a woman vice-president. I don't think he's arrogant beyond the usual of a politician, nor full of himself.  He's brighter than his handicapped speech implies.

He will assemble good people and listen to them, that's his strong card, I believe.

Victory, though, relies heavily on gaining support of Sanders young people whom a recent pole in contested states found they supported Trump.  I strongly suspect this was a concerted and planned effort to gain an advantage at the Democrat convention.
