named his cabinet early, really early. What if he got Obama to commit to two years as Secretary of State? What if he named a reasonable, sane Republican to be Secretary of Defense or Homeland Security, Romney perhaps? Stacey Abrams for Health and Human Services, Elizabeth Warren or Bernie Sanders for Labor? Joe could have a full slate, ready to go. He could be using this time to hold extensive discussions with his cabinet-in-waiting. Extraordinary times demand extraordinary actions.
