Agreed, I'm all for international commerce, I think strong economic ties are the real road map to peace. My point was, if we're going to bring up Americans screwing the system, there's plent of blame to go around. It seems mainly the politically weak and disenfranchised get lambasted for cheating the government or abusing the system.

In California I was in support of NAFTA (yes, it has its problems like everything else the gov't and humankind attempts), but with many in CA worried about the supposed ill effects of illegal Mexican immigration (I am the proud grandson of a legal Mexican immigrant, and were taking the state back one baby at a time! :)  . . . ) I believe the best way to reduce illegal immigration here in CA, is to assist Mexico in improving its economy and cleaning up its corruption. If there were good jobs in Mexico, most Mexicans would rather be home with their families.    Maybe a little off subject . . .
