Colin Powell was characterized well in Oliver Stone’s film, “W.”. He may or may not have been instrumental in making the case for the Iraq war ~~ what he said to the UN & the public, etc., may not have definitively effected the outcome, what that gang wanted they were sure to get, is my guess. But in the film, he is portrayed as reasoning, conscientious, and steadfastly reluctant to go along until he had to do what he apparently had to do. I’d like to believe he’s doing more than just grabbing onto the media flow here. & I appreciate the post. We’ll see.
