Ramble On, Reg -"I like Hammer films (the old horror stuff) and they are pretty goofy I guess." Myself as well..from a recommendation of a buddy at work...Even 1941 - you lost me.Haven't seen Neighbors..."I like a Robin Williams film from the 80's called The Survivors which is about gun nuts and may have been Williams first film and I think it is the one that made me laugh more than any other. I think that film is pretty much thought to be a piece of shit by most people."You're filling up my queue, Reg!"The "I feel like I've seen this before" factor with new films is a big problem. Also I think new films are tested too much to please the widest range of people and things are so watered down that they are all so bland...it's impossible to sit through most of them"I think they're related - Wall Street and Hollywood - Business and Art - [the art of business] Oil and Water...I wish I had something original to say..."Lee, you probably know better than anybody.I honestly can't watch television shows because the rhythm fucks me up."You are chock o'block full of it on this one, Reg - Last night I saw Blue Planet and there were birds diving 60+ feet into the water feeding with the fish....I would sell a(perhaps even my own)kidney to be underwater getting that footage. Not to mention that the disemvowelled rhythm is going to get you. Run, don't hide.
