Yes, Once, definitely want to but still have not yet seen it (discussed by you & others on the dbis a while back, no?), & @l highly recommended The Kite Runner as a powerful tearjerker (to which I replied: The novel is partially finished on my desk so I’m waiting on this flick for a little while).   &, although not sappy per say, two others I want to include in this thread are Candy (’06) and …yikes … Tideland (as I’m not feeling particularly sappy today).  Probably neither of the latter two flicks will leave you feeling all warm and squishy upon fade to black.  Tideland starts-out with a kinda magical feeling like August Rush or Millions … but then that’s where they part sharply company.      “…Now she’s dead … & I don’t have a car.”
