Reg. Little doubt in my mind … if not for 17 years under the same roof with kids (+4 more with foster kids), my film tastes would probably be more honed into another sense of sensibilities altogether. …Or maybe not. I tend to lean darkly philosophical & slightly doubtful in my waking hours … so it’s been sappy, heart-wrenching, the best in people wins over the worst in people, fade-in-hope-struggle-sorrow-survive-chuckle-struggle-make-a-little-love-hope-sorrow-struggle-overcome-fade-to-black … sorts of stories that help even my keel. Not afraid to well-up and feel it. If I spent a month on a mountain watching your film collection … there’s no telling what woeful shenanigans would eventually occur as the result. (chuckle)  But a couple o’days worth … probably wouldn’t be all that worse for the wear. It takes all kinds. Hell, I even learned to like Fried Green Tomatoes, after umpteen years, … because they filet the antagonist & serve him to the police as barbecue. Now that’s hopeful. Love to see Fried Green Tomatoes, the Capitol Hill Edition … some time real soon.
