Of course he was guilty. The plea was to commute his sentance to life behind bars rather than to give him death.
Ok we've established you are not delusional. I thought we would be bickering over this for at least 2 bouts.

Can you at least acknowledge the fact that Tookie was doing some good over the last few years?
Yes I can. I have heard mixed news on that also. In other words I don't think he was Carla Fay Tucker.

 And if that is so, why the hell would you feel that his death will leave the world better off?  
We live in a society that is more and more of the attitude that someone can be rehabilitated only to have them repeat said crimes after they are released.  Personally I prefer the death penalty to life imprisonment for heinous crimes such as these. My only worry is years later in a lax liberal society this guy would be released.

God will be plenty busy with the souls of all the killers. After midnight you can add Ahnold to the list. The commandment reads Thou Shalt Not Kill.
And I believe  "An Eye for an Eye" was in there somewhere also.
