Very true, but I just need to make it clear that I got off the crazy train in 2008, long before Trump walked down the escalator, taking half the country with him into the land of lunacy. 

Conservative media has done a masterful job of convincing their viewers/listeners that anything to the left of their hardcore narrative isn't to be considered for discussion. Limbaugh used to routinely refer to CNN as the Clinton News Network. There's no room in their world for honest discussion. The most frustrating thing is to sift through the comments of just about any thread on social media and see this at play with the ignorance of people defending Trump. It's clear they've been led to believe that the J6 committee is illegitimate and not to be believed, or even watched. Really, the only thing we can hope for is that these ignoramuses croak before they take the entire country down with them. They vote in disproportionate numbers and from what I gather, they primarily lean conservative.
