Actually, EEE, I'm not looking for a gun rights debate, here, I just want to know if you have any thoughts or experiences regarding how the typical civilian responds in a situation wherein they have to use a firearm to defend themselves. I've read that such an intense experience clouds judgment, impairs the nervous system, and makes a successful outcome far less than likely. Do you know of police officers, who are trained for such experiences, ever fail to react properly and if so, how often would you guess? Just wondering....
