Well, I'd rather have a president with human rights concerns than a failed actor such as Reagan who carried out several wars on poor Central American people and allowed for the training of right wing death squad leaders in Georgia.

And frankly, I think if one really looks more into the failure of the rescue of the Iranian hostages, the true failure will be found in the hands of the competitive nature of our different branches of military. If I recall correctly, the helicopters used were not recommended for that type of mission but to placate the egos of military leaders and to include all branches, it was and with terrible results. And Pat, before you throw in Clinton and Somalia, I'd suggest you pick up the book "Blackhawk Down" and read the endnotes. I think those on the right will be surprised that the loss of those great solidiers can't be entirely laid at the feet of Clinton.
