Thanks Kent, very interesting indeed.  I think this story is going to grow larger as the days go by.  It was fascinating to learn that my buddy, whose job is to fight forest fires in Montana, is now a member of homeland security.  His whole fire team was sent from Montana to Texas to search for days on end for remnants of the shuttle.  In the first few days there crew found a part of the shuttle that was leaking chemcials.  Withing minutes the members of the crew became very ill and had to be taken to a local hospital for treatment.  As soon as the men were moved Air Force security teams swooped in and cleared the area.  I found it interesting that this was not reported in the media, at least to my knowledge.  At night my friend would talk with some of the NASA guys and they were discussing some of the things they were working on in space.  Anthrax was one of them,  also other top secret military matter that were too sensitive to discuss. Now my buddy is back in Montana but is still working for homeland security. There new orders are as follows. If they are on a fire and any homeland emergency comes up they are to drop whatever they are doing, leave the fire and report for duty.  They are now essentially military reservists. I am not saying this is nessecarily that this is a bad thing but it is very sureal.  One other thing he told me is that at some point they may be called up to seal of the border down south.

Strange uncertain days indeed.

Robert
