thanks for that response!I'm an amateur when it comes to gardening anything beyond salsa ingredients (though I've had amazing luck with squash & cucumbers too). Never tried potatoes before this year, and I must say, the raised garden is really filling in with green!Strawberries did not come up, but potatoes, peas, and radishes are going along like mad!Peppers are having a tough time owing to a bumper crop of bunnies in the wild. Tomatoes are doing fair to middling--and ought to really take off when the sky stops opening up every night & the heat comes on.For the first time, I've planted a blueberry bush. It'll be interesting to see how that goes.I'll be doing a little patch of corn this week as well, just for kicks. (Maybe I can stuff an ear of it into my gas tank & save some money!~)The asparagus is coming up, but it's the first year here for that, so nothing really to harvest until following years. It is also in a raised bed, but it doesn't have any stones placed around it, so the asparagus patch basically looks like a freshly-dug grave. The new neighbors want to ask, I can tell.Happy mulching!Herring405
