Are you saying that you believe that the Dalai Lama endorses/and or urges managing human existence? If so, I would like to peruse any citations as to such, as I have a significantly different take on the man and the philosophies he espouses.

Bush? Certainly. The Pope? Yes. However I have always understood Buddhism and its followers to be pretty laissez-faire when it comes to micro- or macro- anything. All one needs to do is look through history at the number of wars, conflicts, incursions, insurgencies, etc. begun by a Buddhist or his followers. But there are others on this board exponentially more knowledgeable on His Holiness and Buddhism than this humble searcher.
