PS. I too have a kid, though she's twenty four years old now so hardly a kid. Parenting was a great adventure- the ultimate leap of faith- and I would do it all over again if I had the opportunity.

Katie lives in NYC and is working on the conversion of an abandoned railroad trestle in Manhattan- the Highline- into new public space scheduled to open next year. I'd like to think I had something to do with her success but I think it was mainly providing the soil for this little flower to grow in.
