Hey you folks are all so very kind and wonderful. You know it's funny, Mick...yes the furry footed one...once gave me a good talking to about having kids and had a very strong argument...basically that the world needs our children if there is to be any hope. I do learn from all of you here that are parents. You all seem so good at it and deal with everything so well. I do feel good when I read your stories. Andrea, Kathryn, Cass, David, Kevin G, Mick...you've all told such wonderful stories about your kids and there is so much love in your words you seem barely able to control your joy. Thank God for all of you because the future really is in the hands of parents and teachers. In does, as Mick said to me, give me hope that the future is in good hands.

So with all that inspiration I have filed the papers to adopt Ed and he should be my baby boy within a week. I am very proud that Reginald Edward has been deemed the funniest of all on the Baerwald board. I'm going to set some strict guidelines for him though and there will be no more late night posting and if anybody gets an invite to a sleepover at our place you'll have to check with me first...Reginald Edward needs permission for that. No more greasy foods and no more sugary snacks after 6:30pm either.

The wife and I are going out to pick him up some new clothes...I saw some lederhosen I think he'll look adorable in and we're stocking up on Depends!

We can't wait for his arrival!
