I referred to Capitalism as two things in my post, a language and a religion. I think there's a good argument that it qualifies as both. How well it has served humanity is debatable. How well it has served this country is obvious. I would say to you that I don't see the possibility of being both a Capitalist and a Christian...would seem you'd be serving two seperate Gods. Naughty, naughty from the Christian standpoint...of course we are all brilliant rationalizers these days, so what the hell, eh?
The global language of the proletariat may be love or perhaps music though they may be the same on some plane in some dimension but unquestionably, the global language of the ruling class is Capitalism.
As far as it being a religion...well...the blood sacrifices on its altar pile up daily.
