I'm not a Christian, though I used to be (long story). Still, I would have walked out too. I still see a need for the Christian kind of thinking, even if I'm not fundie I think it's important politically that Christians stay involved. My mother is a fine example of what I believe a Christian should be (but definately not a fundie herself). And she is the reason I remain a conservative politically.
