I am certainly tired of thinking...and thinking does in fact make me tired.

I reduced what is happening right now to a fairly simple idea...

It's all about the oil.

Or, you could say it's all about the money.

Regardless of which phrase you'd like to use here's what I predict:

In the next 50 years the world will change in a very specific and drastic way. The population of this planet will be significantly reduced and this reduction will be directly linked to the decisions of a few well placed citizens of the energy industry and military industrial complex. If you live outside of the United States and a few other carefully chosen locations you are, in a most obvious way, expendable. I think there has been a decision made that the Third World nations of this planet are just a very large turd floating in the bowl and the repair man has finally shown up to fix the plumbing and they are going to pull that chain and flush.

It'll be like hitting the lottery for a chosen few...milking those precious black drops for every last cent and clearing the path to doing so for a tad longer buy thinning the herd to a more reasonable number.

This is simple to see really and the reasoning behind it is crystal clear...the rich get richer from what they believe truly belongs to them (the world's oil supply) and we take out the trash so to speak by cleaning up a painful population problem. The massive reduction in the general populous grants us more time to develop a solution to our energy issues and forces us to depend on and look for leadership from those who control what we need to build that future...they win by default in every respect...

There are, of course, some wildcards but I'm sure in the same cold and calculating way they are working on those as we worry about abortion, stem cell research, judges, the cost of living, and how to finance our next Lexus.

Or you know...ahh...something to that effect...
