oh... i guess you asked some questions, and i never replied.

the guy who walked across australia is an australian adventurer who has climbed everest and been to both poles and... i don't know what else. among other things, he wanted to see if he could live off the land, thereby becoming much closer to it. and he wanted to see if he could live like the aboriginal folks had for thousands of years.

i suppose if the tryouts were in alaska, i might try to be the new INXS singer. i went to the KICK tour back in the late 80s...

and... asked my friend today if she had heard the term "the big smoke". she had read it in a recent e-mail from her pal in darwin, and she had no idea what he was talking about...
