Interesting! Jon Stevens from Noiseworks took over the lead singer role in INXS for a while. Noiseworks reunited for one of the tsunami benefit concerts. I don't know - it's never the same without the original...

Last weekend, there was a "Moonlight and Wine" festival in Perth. It's designed for oldies like me - the mature person's "Big Day Out" or "Rock-it" concert. This year they had Blondie, Willie Nelson (who failed to perform due to laryngitis), David Byrne from Talking Heads and the headline act was the new American Doors (with Ian Astbury of the Cult taking on lead singer duties). The reviews were quite favourable. Last year's line-up appealed to me more - Bonnie Raitt and Robert Cray (two of my favourites), The Pretenders and more. One year, I must go...but it's at a bad time for us (not good leaving the farm in summer/autumn due to calving and fire risk).

The fellow who walked from S to N - was he on a personal mission or was he raising money for a charity? There always seems to be somebody attempting to cross the country from one spot to another.
