and the truth of the matter is that neither of them is the greatest guitar player. That is Edward van Halen without a doubt by the way. And please all you non-guitar players don't chime in with Hendrix or Page...Pre and post Eddie the guitar's identity shift is huge. Pick-ups, tremeloes, technique, design, tone,  blah blah blah...
