One of my Favorite Rock "moments" of all time was when I went to see the Kinks right after VH's first album came out. They opened with "You Really Got Me" - at the bridge, Dave stepped up to the front and played EVH's solo - complete, note-perfect, and looking TOTALLY BORED . That was all the comment I ever needed on EVH's playing.
