It is amazing to me that to some ignorant people --- others' sex lives are an issue.

I was sitting on an American Airlines flight into Texas for a medical conference a few years ago, when the guy sitting next to me starts a conversation with me. When I told him that I was headed into Dallas to deal with the AIDS-Hemophilia issue --- he asked me if I too was bothered (as he so obviously was) by the sourge that the "faggots" (his word, not mine) had visited upon the Earth --- AIDS.

When I told him that the doctor that saved my own life from AIDS was himself gay --- I wished I would had a camera in my hands.

The look on that guys face, imagine that . . . he was absolutely stunned speechless.

My own hope is that we all live to see all humans treated equally.

My way of doing this, without having children myself, is to not allow this sort of attitude into my life. A few years ago, Paula and I did a psychic "cleaning of house" to get rid of all the people who were pains in the ass.

Best thing I ever did, actually . . . and I MEAN that!
