In his heart of hearts, who knows what Bush really thinks of gay marriage. Sadly, a solid part of his political base are the bigots who despise gays and lesbians. My gut tells me that Kerry would have no problem with same-sex marriage but it would be political suicide for him to admit it. One day, in the not too distant future, our fellow Americans will wonder what all the fuss was about. I'm betting that reason and a sense of equity will overrule foolish religious dogma. You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one......
