No, sort of the reverse in a way. The Night of the Long Knives was Hitler getting rid of the street thugs who had been useful to his rise but who were now too stupid and thuggish to make it to the next step.  My bet would be that the logic in the tech-nazi faction is likely, "well, Trump got us in, but for him to be worth anything to them in the long run it would only be as a martyr.

MAGA people? No, I think they think he's The Second Coming. The tech-Nazis? Definitely.

Do you see someone analogous to Musk in Hitler's Nazi party?

No. The Nazis had their big money folks who were hugely influential on policy--Thyssen, Frick, Krupp, IG. Farben, etc, but a guy like Musk, one individual, doing all his stuff, calling his own shots like this? Musk's to me is what Rasputin's would have been like had he been the richest man in the world. 

Musk to me seems somewhat unique to this time around. He bought the party for a quarter of a billion dollars. He threatened the party saying any that did not go along he would pay to destroy and remove. I can't think of someone that backed Hitler that had unlimited funds and threatened to use them against dissenters.

I do think, or it was in my head, that a kickoff to our own Night of the Long Knives would be the pardoning of the J6 criminals.  

If I were a tech-Nazi who wanted to rub out inconvenient former allies or to orchestrate the spectacular creation of a martyr, I wouldn't use that gang of cretins, I would reach out to professionals—Mossad, Special Activities Division, Spetsnaz, something like that, god knows there are a lot of these guys running around. The J6 types would seem to me to be the very definition of disposable troops. Like how Russia seems to view their North Korean colleagues. "We ran out of Koreans, send more," someone texted from the front.
