I agree with you. There is more than meets the "eye" here, and although taken in one context, a big meaty cop smashing a kid in the face appears, and is, quite nasty, there is certainly more to the story, and we are indeed getting one byte/bite (sic) of information here, which the media have hopped all over, like flies on shit (fresh shit, of course).
I also agree that we do not have the before, during or after info, as to what transpired, in order to see how the police acted the way they did. They do put their buttocks on the line everyday, in potentially lethal situations, so who can really judge without ALL of the facts being present. Let us wait for more information. There are more sides to this story, it would seem. The video clip, you'd have to agree, was pretty disturbing...just the portion I saw was clearly brutal, and seemed over the top, but all the facts may not be in.
