We can argue this point till we are blue and the left will not see it. But have you ever enlightened someone who has no political savy whatsoever to how the press works. They have no idea what is going on you make a few points and suddenly they come to you and say "I never noticed this before in the press buy you are right....They do this and this and this."
It's why Rush Limbaugh made it so big. No one had spoken like that before and the America ate it up. Goldberg rightly points out that the media tend to follow the New York Times, Washington Post and the lesser L.A Times and these papers are liberal. Why? Because all journalist tend to be liberal. Rather wont admit to it. Jennings kind of will. Brokaw kind of also. I remember a time when Andy Rooney (an admitted liberal) said in an interview "Of course the media is liberal" and made points like they were straight out Goldbergs book
Do we need to debate it? No. Will we ever defeat it. Doubtful. Unless the EIB Network opens a college program. I just dont see journalist going there anytime soon.
