Icon I get this cascade of thoughts when I look at this stuff

First, yes, I went and watched those videos, some of them anyway, and what a bunch of f-ing losers those people are.

Second, while those may be videos for grooming loyalists, I wonder how many in the MAGA crowd would watch that stuff because it is not the simplified bumper sticker nonsense about deporting 20 million people, immigration, immigration, immigration, Democrats are a bunch of commies and baby killers, inflation, inflation, inflation, I'd rather be electrocuted than eaten by a shark, crowd size, crowd size, crowd size bullshit they are normally fed.

I guess those videos are meant to be for the MAGA clowns that have a longer attention span and can string together more than a couple sentences?

Third, I mean Trump would never sit through, care about, nor understand those videos. They are boring as all hell, mention too many books and writers he's never read or likely even heard of, and they don't talk about his favorite subject...him. Sure, they show him in brief clips in them, which basically would be the only moment in them he would notice, but I have sincere doubts he would understand anything else in them.

Trump's eyes would glaze over talking to one of the people in those videos or listening to any of that. He would never be loyal to the Heritage Foundation, does not share their beliefs, is not a Christian, does not give a flying shit about any kind of history, unless it is his own, and has little to no concept of what conservatism is, was, could ever be.

This leaves me wondering, what would the interface between Trump and Heritage look like? Are they his handlers or does he see them as stooges he can con into supporting him? Does he just think they are "good" because they support him? Are they that stupid to think they can form a partnership with Donald Trump, who will never have any loyalty to them and will only have one question for them, "What can you do for me?"

I mean, I see what Heritage is trying to do with Project 2025, it is completely anti-democracy but having Trump as the guy you want to bestow this power on, a guy that will turn on you on a dime at any moment, seems to bake in failure.

I know they would like a Hitler like figure but the one difference between Hitler and Trump that has always stood out to me is, Hitler believed in a movement outside himself, Trump has no beliefs in any movement, he only cares about benefitting him. This really is his primary appeal to many of his supporters, I think, they identify with his open self-obsession and selfishness.

This guy only knows one song:
